Play party: what it means
An organized private event where adults can do kink in a space set up for it, usually with house rules, consent policies and volunteers watching for safety. A dungeon is a venue equipped for play.
Also called: dungeon.
In practice
Play parties are private, organized events with house rules, consent policies and often volunteers who watch for safety. Being at a party is never consent to anything; every interaction still needs its own negotiation and agreement. Many first-timers just watch, chat and learn the space.
Consent and safety
Community spaces run on discretion and consent. Do not out people, photograph them or share who attended. Ask before touching anyone, respect house rules, and remember that being in a kink space is never consent to anything. For meeting someone new, see our safety tips.
