Sparks is a small, independent web app for adults 18 and over who want to meet people without paywalls or games. It runs at skipthegame.site and works in any phone or desktop browser — there is nothing to install.

What you can do on Sparks

• Make a real profile. A display name, a photo, your age, city, who you are and who you are looking for, plus a short bio.
• Play Smash or Pass. You see real member profiles one at a time. Smash if you are interested, pass if not. Nobody is told when you pass.
• Match only when it is mutual. If two people both smash each other, Sparks creates a match. Only then can you message each other.
• Chat in private DMs. Messages in a match are visible only to the two people in it (and to moderators when investigating a report).
• Browse and post personal ads. The Classifieds board is for people who would rather say exactly what they are looking for in their own words.

What Sparks costs

Nothing. Creating an account, swiping, matching, messaging and posting ads are free. There is no paid tier right now. If that ever changes, it will be announced on this page first.

Who it is for

Adults 18+ looking for dates, casual or ongoing connections, kink-friendly partners, or just conversation — always consensual, always between adults. Sparks is not a place for paid services of any kind; ads that list prices, rates or "donations" are blocked automatically.

How moderation works

Every profile, DM and ad has a report option. Reports go to the Sparks admin, who appears in the app as The Algorithm with an ADMIN badge — if you see that badge, you are talking to the person running the site. The admin can remove ads, delete messages and ban accounts that break the community rules.

Honest limits

Sparks is new and still growing, so there may not be many people near you yet. We do not verify identities, run background checks or guarantee matches. Please read the safety tips before meeting anyone.
