Munch: what it means
A casual, public, no-play social meetup for kink-curious and kinky adults, usually at a restaurant, café or bar. It is the classic low-pressure way to meet people in the community. Normal clothes, normal conversation, no play.
In practice
Munches are usually held in a restaurant, café or bar, with everyday clothes and normal conversation. They are a low-pressure way to meet people, learn about local events and get a feel for the community. Going with a friend the first time is common, and you never have to share more than you want.
Consent and safety
Community spaces run on discretion and consent. Do not out people, photograph them or share who attended. Ask before touching anyone, respect house rules, and remember that being in a kink space is never consent to anything. For meeting someone new, see our safety tips.
