Roleplay: what it means
Partners acting out agreed characters or scenarios for fun or fantasy. Like everything else, the characters, the limits and how to step out of the roleplay are agreed beforehand. On Sparks, all roles and scenarios involve adults only.
In practice
Roleplay can be lighthearted or elaborate. Partners agree the characters, the scenario, the limits and how to step out of character, often with a safeword that clearly means “we are stopping, for real”. On Sparks, every role and scenario involves adults only, without exception.
Consent and safety
